- Park vehicle in a safe location, turn off engine and set parking brake.
- Remove old wiper blades
CAUTION: WIPER BLADES ARE SPRING LOADED, MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT IMPACT THE WINDSHIELD, THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE. - Wash windshield thoroughly with soap and water or a glass cleaner.
- For Super Silicone Wiper Blades Only: apply the windshield treatment solution. Remove the windshield treatment towel from its packet. Wipe the entire windshield with windshield treatment towel. Let the windshield treatment solution dry on the windshield for 10 minutes, them wipe windshield with a clean, dry or slightly damp towel.
- Choose the correct wiper blade adapter from the adapter pack.
- Test fit the adapter into the wiper arm to check fit. The
correct adapter will "snap" into place.

- For hook type wiper systems. Adapters C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6
and C11

- Test fit the adapter into the wiper arm to check fit. The
correct adapter will "snap" into place.
- Once proper adapter is identified, press the adapter into the
PIAA wiper blade.

- Install PIAA wiper blade onto wiper arm.
- For hook type wiper systems:

- For 3/16" side lock pin style wiper system: Adapter C11
only.

- For hook type wiper systems:
- For Super Silicone Wiper Blades Only; Run the PIAA Super Silicone blades dry for 5 minutes for final windshield preparation. This applies an initial silicone coating to the windshield. Periodically run the PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades dry to maintain an even silicone coating.
- Replacement Periods
- Super Silicone Wiper Blades - Replace yearly or when damaged.
- Graphite Wiper Blades - Replace every 6-8 months or when damage occurs.
- Keeping the windshield and wiper blades clean will prolong the life of your wiper blades.
Forza Hybrid Installation
WHEN NOT REQUIRING A CONVERSION HOLDER

Installation Method: As shown in the figure 1 below, take the wiper arm and attach it to
the U-clip on the wiper blade until you hear and audible click.
- Removal Method: As shown in figure 2 above, lift the blade’s U-clip and then remove the blade from the arm.
Forza Hybrid Installation
WHEN REQUIRING A CONVERSION HOLDER
(Note: Some vehicles require a conversion holder for wiper installation.)

As shown below, Wiper blades with a conversion holder include 5 types of U-clips
(C-1 to C-5). Select a U-clip that properly fits the wiper arm from
the 5 types provided (1).
- As shown above, Temporarily remove the U-clip that was selected in 1. (2) And then attach it to the conversion holder (3).

As shown in the figure below, take the conversion holder and attach
it to the U-clip on the wiper blade until you hear an audible click (4).
- As shown above, Take the hook section of the holder cover and insert it into the blade opening (3) (as shown in diagram).

As shown below, Slide the holder cover toward the end of the blade as shown in the
figure below. Make sure it is securely attached to the conversion
holder. After sliding the cover in place and securing it to the holder,
push the arrow mark (6) upward. Then press the holder cover downward
and it will easily clip into place.
- As shown above, take the wiper arm and attach it to the U-clip on the conversion holder until you hear an audible click (7).
- REMOVAL METHOD: take the wiper arm and attach it to the U-clip on the conversion holder until you hear an audible click (7).
RUBBER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
Always use PIAA brand replacement rubber blades.

As shown below, take the rubber from the back end and pull the entire strip out.
- Slide the rubber from the back end of the wiper blade through all the claws. Press the rubber until it goes into the last rubber stopper hole.

U-Hook Wiper Arms
1. The correct wiper adapter will already be installed on wiper blade.
2. Attach the wiper arm onto the PIAA wiper and it will “snap” into place.

3/16” And 1/4” Side Pin Wiper Arms
1. The correct wiper adapter will already be installed on wiper blade.
2. Lift up on inner adapter and insert wiper arm pin through the correct sized hold in the wiper frame.
3. With wiper arm pin inserted all the way through the adapter, snap inner adapter down onto wiper arm pin until it “snaps” into place.

Pin & Hook Wiper Arms (P&H)
1. The correct wiper adapter will already be installed on wiper blade.
2. Insert wiper arm pin through the correct sized hole in the adapter, slide wiper side arm over the top of the adapter then push down to lock into place.

PTB Wiper Arms (PTB)
1. Detach the wiper adapter that originally comes on wiper blade and replace with optional adapter that comes in the wiper package. (see illustration)
2. Slide wiper arm all the way down on the guide groove located in the middle of the wiper adapter.
3. Pull back and lock into position.

Insert & Lock Wiper Arms (I&L)
1. Detach the wiper adapter that originally comes on wiper blade and replace with optional adapter that comes in the wiper package.
2. Insert wiper arm into the top of the wiper adapter and then push down to lock into place.
